Prior to joining Compass, Steve worked for over a decade in talent representation. As a talent agent, Steve represented thousands of artists in his career for all aspects of entertainment & music - from stages around the world to the silver screen.

Steve’s success in entertainment stemmed from his unwavering commitment to his clients and his passion to ensure that they reach their goals. Now a dedicated advocate for his clients throughout each step of the home buying and selling process; Steve utilizes the same passion, attention to detail, and calming influence that he once used while placing talent with such artists like Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, and Britney Spears.

As a member of The Jackie Smith Group, Steve has the ability to leverage other team members and services for the benefit of his clients. The collaborative team approach is very similar to his previous experience working in a talent agency.

Steve currently resides in Silver Lake with his husband and 4 dogs. He loves brunch in the neighborhood, activism with his community, a morning run around the Silver Lake reservoir, Saturday morning yoga, visiting family in his native Baltimore, escaping to the island of Kauai, and dancing to live music.
